Interaction between urbanization and eco-environment in the Tibetan Plateau

A scientific evaluation of the broad reciprocal influences between urbanization and eco-environment in Tibetan Plateau region is great significance for increasing speed quality as well restoring improving eco-environment. Based on a thorough look at progress made by research interactions region, this article attempts to construct complete analytical model that can achieve whole process analyzing indexes, quantifying coupling coordination, identifying types, exploring decoupling paths, predicting future trends. Using multi-scale analysis its provinces prefecture-level units means comparison, we attempt clarify differences different scales, identify problem areas propose targeted improvement measures. The result shows indexes scales rise stages index Qinghai higher than Tibet; changes two regions are also different, with downward trend toward stability Tibet, stratification units; degree coordination overall, type changing from uncoordinated deterioration borderline deterioration, ultimately into scarcely coordinated development, which basically puts logging category; display dynamic alternating strong weak decoupling, indicating there negative influence phenomenon passive prominent. We predict next 10 years, system will steadily increase, but be significant discrepancies growth rates regions.
